Chris Francis, Director – London
Chris read Russian and French at Oxford, his degree including a stint at university in Voronezh in southern Russia. He began his career at MBL in the mid-90s, working on international research initially out of London, and then in Bangkok and Taipei, where he first developed an ongoing fascination for Asia. He joined Flamingo in early 2000, just after the Y2K bug didn’t bring the world to a stop, and has led projects as far afield as Bolton and Beirut. Outside work he likes reading, movies, swimming, food, playing pool, and landing the occasional big carp. Chris also speaks intermediate Japanese.
