Brian McMahon

Brian McMahon, Managing Director – New York

Brian has over twenty years experience in advertising, consumer research, and strategic planning with such notable global brands as The Walt Disney Co. and John Deere. A true internationalist, Brian has led major multi-cultural studies in more than twenty countries in Europe and Asia, and holds both US and Irish passports. Brian started his career on the ad agency side, making his way to VP at BBDO. After operating his own successful qualitative research consultancy for years, he founded the qualitative division at LRW, left for client Disney, and later returned as Senior Vice President/Consultant before joining Flamingo International NY. A restless intellectual with a particular interest in behavioral economics and global brand strategies, Brian holds both an MBA and an MSD/Industrial Design, has several innovative patents and awards to his name, and has lectured at Universities around the world. Brian is an avid sailor and boatbuilder, and stubbornly refuses to surrender his Huntington Beach, California home despite living in Manhattan and dreaming of owning an organic farm in County Cork one day.
