- the Living Room is conveniently located six minutes from Central Tokyo Shibuya Station and eight minutes from Shinjuku Station; 10-20 minutes by taxi from Central Tokyo hotels.
- Our viewing facility is not the only reason to visit Shimokitazawa! —it's a vibrant young area with a variety of eclectic shops, esoteric bars and scrumptious restaurants.

Our Facility Staff
- Our staff are well trained, bilingual and ready to assist you.
- Our assistant will order food, serve beverages or make photocopies/send faxes for you during the group.
- Ask our assistant if you need any help with the sound system, you are thirsty or require some information on the best tourist spots in Tokyo.

Your Comfort
- Comfortable seating in the backroom: chairs and a large sofa on a raised platform – everyone gets a great view and there's room to move.
- Seats 7.
- A separate comfortable viewing lounge with a 60-inch monitor and easy chairs. This raises total capacity to 15+ (on request).

Technical
- Wireless headsets with options for English or Japanese.
- Wireless internet that will keep you online and connected throughout the group.
- Remote viewing capability that can stream image, sound and simultaneous translation from the interviews in real time to any part of the world (enquire at the time of booking and we will issue an ID and password for you, your clients and colleagues who are not able to attend).
- Recording of the interviews in DVD format and held on hard disk for one month:
- dubbed in the Japanese original.
- the interpretation only.
- interpretation mixed with Japanese available upon request.

Booking Terms and Conditions
Booking
Reservations can be made at any time but only become valid ten working days before the date of use (a reservation cannot be rendered invalid by the Living Room after that date). For any reservations made prior to that, the Living Room will inform you immediately if it has become impossible to book for the dates in question. Please print out the application form (Japanese), fill it out and send by fax to +81 (0) 3 4550 2911 or send an E-mail containing all relevant information to: livingroom@flamingo-international.com
Sessions and Costs
Clients may use the interview room, back room and monitor room. All arrangements need to be done prior to the date of use. The times the facility may be used are as follows:
Weekends and Public Holidays Time Morning session 10:00-13:30 Afternoon session 14:00-17:30 Evening session 18:00-21:00 Weekdays (Monday to Friday) Time Weekday session 18:30-22:00 - For a 30-minute extension, a fee of 10,000 yen will be charged (The fee is 10,000 yen even if both the interview room/back room, as well as monitor room are booked)
- Same-day extension is possible if the session(s) in question are not already booked by another party.
- Extension at the time of booking is not possible unless the booking is for the whole preceding/following session.
- Extension of an evening session/weekday session is no later than 22:30.
- No extension before 18:30 is possible on a weekday session.
- If two sessions in a row are booked (e.g. morning session and afternoon session), no fee will be charged for the time between
The prices below are per session (reception of guests and respondents, serving drinks; as well as simultaneous interpretation equipment, wireless internet and TV/DVD usage in the interview room is included):

Cancellation charges apply to confirmed bookings cancelled within the following time periods:
- 5-10 working days – 50% of studio cost
- 4 or less working days – 100% of studio cost.
'Working days' are defined as a full standard working day of 9:30am to 6:30pm Monday to Friday. For example, cancelling a booking on a Monday for a Friday booking constitutes four working days.
The Living Room will not make a charge if the studio can be resold for the same dates for similar fees.
The Living Room will accept no responsibility for delays caused by weather, industrial action, transport difficulties, terrorist action, demonstrations or any other circumstance beyond its control.
Respondents
Information relating to respondents will remain the property of the field agency or initial contact. We are not involved in recruitment of respondents and are not liable for quality or quantity of respondents.
Payment
Terms of payment are strictly 30 days from date of invoice and are subject to VAT.
Property
The Living Room will not be liable for any loss, damage, costs or expenses incurred by the client as a result of any loss, damage or deterioration to any stored materials.
The Living Room reserves the right to charge for any damages that may occur as a result of any mistreatment of equipment/fixtures.
