James Battison – Europe
Initially trained as an advertising copywriter, James headed to Hong Kong, working for McCann’s and DDB Needham amongst others. Since returning to Europe in 1996, he’s worked in a variety of brand marketing and media business development roles, including heading the launch of Fashion TV in the UK. In 1999, James founded mobile creative agency LIFE with Simon and Yasmin LeBon developing mobile messaging services and consulting with the likes of Skint Records, Warner Music, EMI, Virgin Retail, Fatboy Slim, Greenpeace, Robbie Williams, Sophie Ellis Bextor, Sugababes and the Coca-Cola company. James has more than 5 years experience working with mobile messaging, marketing to and engaging with young people.
